Rose Miller

Hello!

My name is Rose Miller and I am an Artist maker, specialising in Costume and Prop making, Puppet Theatre, Parade work, Community Arts and Workshop design & facilitation.
 
I am deeply comitted to Art for Art’s sake and Play for Play’s sake!
We all need play and I aspire to integrate playfulness into my own work and to inspire it in others. Whether thats through the pieces that I create for performance, or through the interactive environments and open ended play prompts that I set up for workshops. 

When working with community groups, volunteers or members of the public my aim is always to cater to individulas needs and make artistic exploration or learning new skills accessible and fun.

As a member of Generic Greeting Collective I was involved in collaboratively organising a wide program of exhibitions, showcases and events both of my own work and in support of other members. The collective functioned on the ethos that we are all stronger and more creative together and thrived on collaboration with other artists and engagement with communities.

Rose is currently undertaking a DYCP project from Arts Council England.
