Boris Nzebo Family Weekender

I designed this workshop in responce to the ‘Boris Nzebo: Urban Style’ exhibition that was on display in the gallery at the time.

Nzebo’s work explored urban life through elaborate hairstyles and vibrant city views. Using intense colours, striking compositions and bold lines Nzebo invited us to consider this urban aesthetic – how people can be defined by their hairstyles and express their identity in a city full of urban encounters.

Inspired by Nzebo’s bold use of lines I invited participants to create their own line drawings using the walls and floors as their canvus and ribbons and tape to paint with.
