Embroidery

My embroidery practice draws from the natural world. I am fascinated by botanical illustration and how we interact with nature; collecting and categorising it, attempting to order chaos. I’m interested in how our attitudes towards, and understanding of, nature is changing to disrupt the male, western, anthropocentric experience.

I have exhibited in group shows as a member of Generic Greeting Collective and had a solo exhibition in the 2016 Chorlton arts festival.
