Manchester Law School comission
for Illustrator Jack McConnellMarch 2019
During March of 2019 I worked alongside Jack McConnell to put together an exhibition for Manchester Law School based on a collection of cases that students had been studying. The exhibition consisted of several wooden uprights with painted designs and several reverse applique banners.
I worked with Jack to cut out the wooden shapes using a jigsaw and made all the flags. For the flags I appliqued designs in place and then cut the background fabric from the reverse of the design in order to ensure that they maintained a pleasing movement and allowed light through the colours consistently.
All designs/Illustrations were by Jack McConnell
