For Manchester Day 2019 I worked with SEN Artists from Venture Arts to deliver their entry for the parade.
In initial meetings about the project, members of the group decided that they would like to give 10/10 to Manchester buildings. Many members of the group said that they liked to get out and about and that buildings where somewhere where they felt safe. Thus the idea of building their own Manchester skyline was born.
For this project it was very important to put the experience of Venture Art's artists first and to be led by them in the form that the project took.
