Stage Directions
The Lowry
Stage Directions is a programme of theatre-making for children and young people (8-18) in Salford, with a focus on co-creation at its heart.
I worked alongside Artist Sophie Tyrrell to create a series of workshops to give a group of young people from salford a snapshot into a few of the skills used in the world of theatre making.
The project concluded with the group creating 6 shard protest banners. These would be used in The Lowry’s production “It’s a Lot”: A play co-created by the young people participating on-stage element of the project and Manchesters Girl Gang.
